In 1929 the Dutch banker, David van Buuren and his wife, Alice, built this home in Brussels. Open for visits!
Loved the interior's Art Deco style, the use of precious materials like exotic woods, ivory etc., their superb collection of paintings from the 15th to the 20th century, including a version of 'The Fall of Icarus' painted by Bruegel the Elder and a series of works by Gustave Van de Woestyne.
