Jardin Majorelle

Pictures from my visit to the Majorelle Garden in Marrakech (Morocco) this summer. This botanical cactus garden was designed by the French artist Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s and 1930s. The special shade of bold cobalt blue is named after him, bleu Majorelle. Since 1980 the garden has been owned by Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé.

An online intervention for Buenos Tiempos, Int.
You can see here some of the paired photographic moments that were on view every 46 hours (only 5 moments were screen captured by me, but in total 14 pairs appeared online). The images document a single moment from two different viewpoints in the process of painting a wall from white to black and from black back to white. More information here.
